Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot molding machine, robot, and auxiliary equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Process Optimization: Set up and optimize process parameters for mold changes and ensure product quality adheres to specifications.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and assign tasks to operators, helpers, and mold setters, ensuring a safe, 5S-compliant, and productive work environment.
Quality and Maintenance: Conduct quality inspections, reduce rejection rates (PPM), and assist with preventive maintenance (TPM) schedules.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production reports, shift logs, and quality check documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in plastic materials, molding machines (e.g., L&T, Electronica), mold setting, and troubleshooting.
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills; proficiency in computers (MS Office) for reporting.
This role generally requires working in rotating shifts and standing for long periods near high-temperature machinery.
Production Management: Supervise daily manufacturing activities, including assembly, testing, and filling of fuses, to meet, or exceed, production targets.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in manufacturing machinery (e.g., automated assembly, welding, or filling machines) to reduce downtime.
Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Ensure all products meet specifications by monitoring process parameters and inspecting finished fuses.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of production machinery and perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety regulations (PPE, lockout/tagout) and ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train a team of operators and technicians, managing their performance and resolving conflicts.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate, real-time records of production, downtime, and maintenance in logbooks or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
