Job Profile :
Study the customer RFQ drawings by ensuring product criticality, material characteristics, and dimensional tolerances, special processes, manufacturing procedures & costing data’s. ?Evaluating feasibility of design by considering functionality, manufacturability, human interface, reliability and other technical and economic factors.
Prepare component drawing as per customer nominal dimensions.
Determination of process sequences, burr side, ease of operations, no. of stages & economical strip layouts. Calculation of cutting force springs selection, machine requirements. Ensure the requirement tonnage machine availability.
Applies algebraic and geometric formulas and standard tool engineering data to develop tool configuration. Selects standard items, such as bushings and tool bits, to incorporate into tool design.
Draws preliminary sketches and prepares layout and detail drawings, using standard drafting tools and equipment or computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software.
Prepare the tool designs and detail drawings for machining, sparking & wire cut.
Receive the tool & supporting documents, ensure the dimensions & specifications. Support & organize the tool assembly with tool makers.
Taking trial outs & trouble-shooting, re-conditioning of tools.
Modifies tool design according to trial or production service data to improve tool life or performance.
Good Knowledge on Design Dept. documents, Kaizens and 5S activity.
SAP implementations, code creations & executions. (MM, BOM, ROUTING)
