Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Analyze daily production reports and create operator-, machine- and shift-wise dashboards.
Improve productivity, OEE, machine utilization and reduce downtime and wastage.
Drive quality improvement through RCA, CAPA and process standardization.
Lead continuous improvement projects.
Execute New Product Development (NPD) trials and commercialization support.
Drive R&D for formulation, process optimization and cost reduction.
Evaluate and implement ERP, MES, AI, automation, IoT and production software.
Train operators and supervisors on SOPs, machine settings, troubleshooting, quality and safety.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Purchase and Management.
Support the Manufacturing Consultant in executing improvement initiatives.

Desired Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
5–7 years in plastics, extrusion, blown film, flexible packaging or related manufacturing.
Strong analytical skills with Excel, Power BI and ERP/MES.
Well versed with manufacturing software, AI, automation and Industry 4.0 concepts.
Hands-on leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

30-60-90 Day Expectations
First 30 Days:
Understand products, machines and processes.
Build baseline production and quality dashboards.
Identify top 10 improvement opportunities.

Days 31–60:
Launch operator/machine performance dashboards.
Begin operator training program.
Implement quick wins to reduce wastage and downtime.
Start one NPD/R&D project.

Days 61–90:
Establish monthly KPI review system.
Implement at least one AI/digital improvement.
Standardize production parameters.
Present a 12-month manufacturing excellence roadmap.

Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Overlaps both production shifts)
