Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Take Direct Responsibility For Coordinating Engineering Stores And Rm (Raw Material) Stores Across All Six Manufacturing Plants.
Supervise And Coordinate With Store Persons At Each Unit To Ensure Consistent Stores Processes And Discipline Group-wide.
Ensure Stores Systems — Stock Records, Issue/receipt Processes, Min-max Levels, Bin/rack Organisation — Are Running Correctly And Consistently Across All Locations, For Both Engineering Items And Raw Materials.
Conduct Regular Physical And System Audits Of Stores Across Units; Identify And Correct Discrepancies.
Coordinate Closely With Production To Ensure Raw Material Availability Matches Production Schedules And Avoid Material-driven Downtime.
Coordinate With Maintenance On Engineering Stores/spares Availability To Support Plant Uptime.
Coordinate With The Purchase Team On Reorder Points, Lead Times, Incoming Material Quality/quantity Checks, And Vendor-driven Stock Issues.
Standardise Stores Practices Across The Six Units And Flag Gaps For Correction.
Report Stock Health, Audit Findings, And Discrepancies Directly To The Managing Director.

Candidate Requirements
6–7 Years Of Overall Experience In A Stores/inventory Function Within A Manufacturing Environment, Or 2–3 Years Specifically In A Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager Role.
Hands-on Experience With Engineering Stores And Raw Material Stores — Plastics/packaging Raw Materials (Granules, Films, Etc.) Experience Is A Strong Plus.
Demonstrated Experience Conducting Stock Audits And Driving Corrective Action.
Working Knowledge Of Inventory/stores Software Or Erp Systems.
Strong Coordination Skills — Comfortable Working Across Production, Maintenance, And Purchase Without Direct Authority Over Those Teams.
Willingness To Travel Regularly Across All Six Units.
Basic Computer Literacy (Ms Excel At Minimum).

Desirable
Prior Experience Managing Stores Across Multiple Plants/locations Simultaneously.
Exposure To 5s / Stores Standardisation Practices.
Experience In A Brcgs Or Similarly Audited Manufacturing Environment.
Familiarity With Plastics/polymer Raw Materials Handling And Storage Norms.
