Job profile -
Receive incoming goods, supervise unloading of material count, tally.physically verification as per bill & purchase order.
Fill goods Inward/daily collection register. Aarrange for inspection and complete the inspection.
Prepare goods receipt note (GRN).And prepare goods rejection memo (in case of goods rejected)
Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned department heads (Hods).Check and count goods before issue. Ensure receipt and issues are correctly documented.
Ensure that rules and regulations relating to physical custody and preservation of stores are followed. Preparation of RGP/NRGP.
Follow-up the pending po. Ensure correct accounting of stores
To exercise general control over all activities in stores department. Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
To maintain proper records. And iinitiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
To reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required.
Follow-up of purchase orders for delivery in lead time, Correspondence & dealing with suppliers, carriers etc. Regarding shortages, Rejection etc. Reported by the store department.
Maintenance of Purchase records & vendor performance records.
