Job profile -
Prepares planning methods for daily routine, preventive maintenance schedules to ensure cost effective maintenance and minimize the risk of breakdown and unscheduled stoppages. Prepare weekly schedule for daily work programs in coordination with respective Production Supervisors for the plant facilities to ensure execution to agreed priorities and procedures.
Receives Maintenance Work Request (MWR) and studies the same, sets priorities and prepares weekly schedule, conducts site visits for estimation on preferred jobs, ensures manpower resources spares are available and monitor the work progress. Prepares job plans for major activities and reviews with respective supervisors (Operations and Maintenance), plans spares / materials and tools requirements for the assigned area.
Prepares effective planning in coordination with other Maintenance Planners and Section Head for the assigned shutdowns / turnarounds to enable the completion of the agreed schedule, scope and quality. Prepares work packages, work details and monitor progress and performance of the work during the shutdowns / turnarounds.
Provides information for the monthly and periodic reports as assigned by the Section Head. Ensures the preparation of backlog reports. Prepares and updates procedures and manuals to meet the ISO Standards. Promotes and maintains effective communication within the operation and the maintenance department.
Initiates purchase requests as required to procure necessary direct materials, tracks history of spares utilization, contributes to develop overall spare requirements in coordination with Maintenance Supervisor and Material Engineer.
