Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate side sealing bag making machines as per production plans and specifications, focusing on courier bag production with hot melt adhesive strip applications.
Monitor sealing quality and hot melt adhesive application: check strip positioning, bonding strength, and product finish.
Carry out routine checks, testing, and visual inspections for seal integrity, dimensional accuracy, and adhesive strength.
Record daily production data: job parameters, output, quality checks, downtime/maintenance.
Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance, including hot melt unit maintenance (adhesive tank, nozzles, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience
10th/12th/ITI (technical preferred).
2+ years’ experience as a side sealing bag making machine operator in flexible packaging.
Prior experience working with hot melt adhesive applicators (for courier bag production) is strongly preferred.
Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical/electrical faults.
Ability to read job orders/spec sheets and maintain production records.
