Job Profile :
In maintenance & Utility department I am working as a Shift Engineer. Our plant is 8.7m
wide BRUCKNER MACHINENBAU German made automation based plant of BOPET film product.
There are many thermal set points which we are maintain on desired value. There are boilers of
capacity having 45 kcal for thermic fluid heating purpose (Temp. 300 degree approx.).
Compressors, chillers, cooling tower are heart of our utility department where we are facing
many problems on daily basis. And solving them on team basis. In our routine maintenance I
responsible here for works like greasing schedule, lubrication of gearbox, pumps, Thermal
extruders etc. In shift wise I am responsible for online problems which we are solving in running
plant with safety. All types of drive system’s routine observation is my responsibility. On basis of
temperature and vibration records I negotiates with their preventive maintenance. I am always
trying to reduce downtime in any works from mechanical department side. And I always keep in
mind about the cost and handling problems of materials. With all these work I am helping my
senior manager for material requirements and day to day updates. I updates stocks of bearings,
belts, seals, shaft, grease, lubrication oil, pneumatic and hydraulic spares etc. So, this is my work
profile in this company. I learned many things from this company and understood the sentence

A. Chain Work :
( According to Bruckner's guidelines )
• Assembly and Dismantle of chain clip & link .
• Maintenance & repairing of chain clip with replacement of bearing , axle, bush, guide bush , knife clip, compression spring ,thrust piece where necessary .
• Maintenance & repairing of chain link with replacement of inside chain link bush , top outer chain link , bottom outer chain link , chain bolt , clip bolt , oil cover, compensation panel, roller bearing cover, shim ring , o-ring , oil protection cover where necessary .
• Changing of tension springs & strips at inlet and outlet in around every six month's schedule.
• Inspection of chain lubrication points during shutdown time .
• Monorail changing and alignment .
• Inspection of chain vibration , temperature , tension , gearbox , turning table .
• Man power handling and distribution during chain shutdown.

B. Mechanical Maintenance Department :
• Routine and preventive maintenance of plant and machinery.
• Inspect and maintain the equipment.
• Conducting periodic maintenance checks.
• Identifying faults, investigation equipment breakdowns, diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Make repairs and make any required upgrades or changes to established systems to improve or prolong efficiency.
• Monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.
• Routine and preventive maintenance of Primary and Secondary slitters
• Preventive check-up of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinder, water flow pumps, chemical pump, big metal rollers, root blowers, rotary valves, gear boxes, heat exchanger, pallet trolley and roller conveyor etc.
