Work Experience

1). Presently working with a leading company as a Senior Manager in Polymerization division and looking after the production of Nylon - 6 textile as well as Nylon - 6 industrial yarn grade chips.
Job Responsibilities :
1). Monitoring of daily production , offspecs and waste generation & achieving production targets
2). Planning of throughputs as per raw material and chips inventory
3). Inventory control of chemicals and other usable items.
4). Manpower handling.
5). Planning and execution of new trials , modifications & improvement projects
6). Trouble Shooting related to process and products and planning of shut downs and attending breakdowns
7). Ensuring proper implementation of safety guidelines and follow up of safe practices.
8). Interfacing with various departments
9). Training and developments of subordinates & workmen .
10). Ensuring proper progress in all the pillar activities of TPM in polymer production department
Achievements: :
1). Increased the production of Nylon-6 continous/plant from 15 TPD to 21.5 TPD as well as in the Semi continuous plant from 5.0 TPD to 10.0 TPD by in house modifications & controlled trials.
2). Developed Various grades of Nylon-6 which are used as Engineering Plastics by conceptualizing various changes in process parameters & conditions & by conducting various Trials.
3). Fully responsible for the conversion of batch poly of polyester into nylon - 6 Polymerization unit. And converted distillation unit of MEG recovery into caprolactam recovery unit.

2). Earlier worked with Century Enka Limited.
a). Increased the production of Depolymerization units from 150 tons /day to 155 tons/day. b). Tio2 sludge waste reduction by 55%.
c). Saving achieved due to reduction in Steam consumption of tumble dryers To the tune of 42 lacs per annum.
