The ideal candidate will have a proven record in B2B sales, preferably in the recycling or sustainable materials industry, and an understanding of global demand for sustainable solutions, particularly recycled plastics. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase market share of recycled PET flakes in the US and European markets.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and define pricing strategies.
Set sales targets and revenue forecasts to support the company’s growth objectives.
Business Development and Key Account Management:
Build and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, packaging companies, and other industrial clients in target regions.
Engage with customers to understand their sustainability needs and present our product as a solution.
Act as the primary contact for high-value clients, ensuring excellent service and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Market Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities in recycled plastics, especially in packaging, textile, and manufacturing sectors in the US and Europe.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to adapt offerings to meet regional regulatory standards and consumer preferences.
Stay updated on market regulations in the US and Europe concerning recycled materials, sustainability, and environmental standards to ensure compliance.
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives, ensuring alignment with company values and market goals.
Provide regular coaching and mentoring to enhance team skills and support career growth.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
Implement efficient sales processes and CRM tools to streamline operations and improve forecasting accuracy.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, revenue growth, and market insights.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in the recycling, sustainable materials, or plastics industry.
Proven experience in B2B sales to international markets, especially in the US and Europe.
Skills:
Strong understanding of recycled plastics, PET industry trends, and sustainable materials.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients and industry stakeholders.
