To check out performance of additives by using Brabender, Two Roll Mill, Mathis Oven etc. Develop additives as per customer requirement.
Also work for Germany, Italy R&D to develop product as per their customer requirement by optimizing formulations/compounding.
Synthesis and application testing of new heat stabilizers for PVC, mainly liquid stabilizers. The various types of stabilizers developed are Ba / Zn, Ba / Cd / Zn, Ca / Zn and Ca / Sn. These are developed either as improvements over existing BIAPL products or as competitor counter-types. Synthesis and application testing of nontoxic stabilizers (like, Ba/Zn and Ca/Zn) and Cost reduction.
Development of heat stabilizers for PVC-Plastisol coating and calendaring.
Was involved in a major basic research project for the discovery of novel co-stabilizers.
To maintain documentations and procedures as per ISO.
