Job Description

Product Design & Development:
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks Solid Edge and AutoCAD
Develop prototypes and validate designs through simulations and testing

Process Innovation:
Collaborate with production teams to optimize molding processes and reduce defects
Research new materials and technologies for product enhancement

Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports
Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with marketing, tooling, and quality teams to align product specs with customer needs
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for design-related issues.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, and other CAD tools
Understanding of plastic injection molding, DFM principles, and mold flow analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Attributes:
Experience in prototype development and design validation
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar design tools
Exposure to ISO standards and quality systems
