Job profile -
Responsible for overall quality of Harness/Cable Assembly to meet customer requirements. Support role in Cost down, Quality improvement, bench marking activities.
Guide quality team for maintaining quality procedure adhering quality policy.
Implementing CAPA for the identified root cause with the help of quality tools.
Tracking of 8-D after submission to the customer.
Identify non conformance and take preventive and corrective actions.
Lead non-conformance investigation with the relevant departments
Submission of PPAP Documents after process approval with the customer.
Jointly work with PE for implantation of poka-yoke for mistake proofing.
Monitoring daily routine procedures of quality like first piece report, in-process & final inspection.
Support in development products & making proto reports.
Prepare PPAP, performing process & product audit, Monitoring Rejection & Rework PPM.
Assist in Process setup and relevant validation.
Solve issues and problem using 7QC tools, problem solving techniques.
Improve Workplace by implementing Kaizen & poke-yoke.
Interact with Clients to understand their concerns & collaborate with CFT for Quality related concerns. Handling customer complaints and giving relevant feedback.
Making supplier audit and customer assessment.
Responsible for New product development and PPAP submission as per APQP timeline.
Obtain necessary quality related approval for raw material and parts from customers and to co-ordinate and
lead customer audits.
Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential problems.
Prepare Control plan and FMEA with CFT for new product development as well as process changes.
Involve in localization activity from new supplier through various supplier audit evaluation and getting
approved from customer as per requirement.
Liaison with outside testing agencies for material testing as per customer & drawing requirement.
Improved internal as well as suppliers quality of the products by providing continuous training & auditing as per QMS.
Reduced customer end rejection PPM by visiting customer end & analyses the failed parts for submission of
permanent corrective action plan and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of Critical Process verification and implementation of poke-yoke to reduce defect occurrences.
Reviewed, corrected, and resolved manufacturing defects to ensure product quality.

Document and maintain the QMS, and the development of Quality Procedures and their subsequent revisions.
Ensure that the processes needed for QMS are established, implemented, and maintained.

Supplier Improvement Activity:
Supplier certification by evaluation through various Audits Suppliers System Audit and Process Audits.
Supplier process qualification and supplier development through PPAP approval process.
Verification of incoming raw materials, in measures of performance and dimensional etc.
Roles & Responsibility:
Leading SQA and discussing about the day to day activities.
Responsible for incoming inspection and ensuring defect free products supplied to line.
Checking dimensions and assuring zero damage of inward material, Take containment action for line
problems due to brought out parts and rejection disposal within 8 hours in ERP. Booking SCAR and Getting CAPA for supplier rejected components through 8D problem solving techniques.
Ensuring disposal of rejected component to supplier within 48 hrs
Monitoring the process capabilities SPC at the supplier end for process improvements
Calculating the monthly supplier PPM and rating the supplier based on their performance.
Responsible for customer audits, IQA and certification audits (ISO/TS 16949)
Approval of new products by preparing, control plan, layout inspection report, MSA and conducting process
and product audits, responsible for completion of the new product until PPAP sign off.
Evaluating existing suppliers by regular auditing and new suppliers for their potential.
Calibration report is maintained for all instruments, gauges, fixtures and calibration is done as per schedule.
Preparing PPAP and APQP for New Product Development.
To ensure the FIFO on line as well as in Store through audits.
Executing 7 QC tools for process engineering & working towards zero defects.
