Job Description

Material Requirement Planning: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify procurement needs based on production schedules.
Vendor Development & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials like polymers, additives, and packaging.
Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to maintain optimal inventory.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain proper documentation for audits.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
Quality Assurance: Work with the quality team to ensure procured materials meet required standards.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of plastic packaging and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Familiarity with supply chain and logistics
