Analyzing and providing quotation to customers based on their requirements.
Send out RFQs and contact manufactures Factories and representatives to obtain best-cost information when necessary.
Work closely with the team to interpret customer requirements and offer solutions that maximize profitability and add value to the customer.
Calculate and understand overall estimated profitability.
Understand and apply company policies regarding pricing, discounts, freight and/or other terms of sale.
Present quotations in a consistent company format.
Compare suppliers quotation of material to determine the price differences for complete comparison.
Planning material requirements and budgets in discussion with the Engineering Team. Analyzing requirements and negotiating with the supplier best possible supply terms and pricing. Directing the subordinates to raise Purchase Orders on the name of the vendor. Monitoring the prompt receipt of material and their conformance with the quality parameters.
