Brief Info: In this study, the silane treated micro-crystalline cellulose (MCC)/ Polypropylene (PP) composite was prepared. MCC
has recently gained more interest owing to its renew-ability, non-toxicity, economic value, biodegradability, high mechanical
properties, high surface area and bio-compatibility. In the first step, the treatment of micro-crystalline cellulose (MCC) with 3-
(amino-propyl) trimethoxysilane was carried-out in order to obtain the MCC having good compatibility with PP matrix. Rheological
test like SAOS (Small amplitude oscillatory shear) and EVF (Extensional Viscosity Fixture) were employed to analyse the
compatibility of SiMCC with the PP. On the basic this test we choose two compositions and foam a master batch of 1 kg of each
composition, which we have further compression moulded to foam sheets for thermoforming to study the melt strength
improvement and sag & thickness distribution.
EVALUATION OF BREAKDOWN IN EXT-RUDER MACHINE & IT’S MAINTENANCE

Brief Info: In this project we have worked over as proto-type single screw ext-ruder which is under maintenance. We study the
structure and working of the ext-ruder modified its power transmission assembly and worked over the screw barrel and its
alignment. Also, we have modified the Die based on the modified output. In the last stage to test the proper working of ext-ruder
we extrude LDPE material from it.

Future Goals

Seeking an Internship opportunity where my skills and experience in Plastic & Polymer Engineering will be fully utilized
and to fill the gap between theoretical & industrial knowledge. Also, if possible, I can work on the project of my expertise for the company and after completing my masters I can continue to work with the company as a full-time employ.
