Research & Development

1 Carrying out extensive study about competitors’ products that includes analyzing design, properties, and expenditure involved.
2 Developing new compounds/cables after carrying out a complete feasibility study to determine its effectiveness, risk involved.

3 Guiding the development of products based on identification of customer specifications.
4 Cost reduction of existing cable compounds using indigenous alternative additives.
5 Currently involved in the following proposed compound development project:
TPR using PVC-CPE blend for welding cable application.
Fire survival cable using PVC-EVA blend compound.
Inspection/Testing

1 Conducting tests of all Polymers such as PVC, XLPE, Rubber, Thermo Plastics Elastomers, Chemical Ingredients, Metals used in power cable manufacturing.

2 Involved in failure analysis of cables & taking relevant corrective measures to rectify defects & eliminate wastages.

3 Carrying out life cycle analysis for PVC, PE, Rubber compounds for predicting cable life at continuous service temperature.

Production Planning/Process Improvement
1 Developing production plans, determining manpower, machinery requirements & ensuring accomplishment of pre-set targets.

3 Using Line balancing technnique for formulating numerous production plans & implementing them for achieving production targets.
