Job Description

To oversee entire operations at the above site keeping the goal of maximizing efficiency and output in mind. This person is expected to improve and streamline the existing production procedures and bring SOPS on board for smooth functioning of the plant.

Purpose of Job:
To plan, direct, supervise and deliver agreed conforming product as per planned quantities / schedules and be responsible for production in totality.

Reporting to MD / CEO / Owner of the company, This person will have shop floor workers and engineers reporting to him.

KPI
production volumes, capacity utilization, yield, productivity, quality compliance, control on rejections, wastage, compliance to quality standards
To plan and achieve the production volumes with approved quality as per scheduled sales target
To ensure all production shift activities are complied with to achieve daily targeted production in time.
To finalize production plan, requirement of Raw Materials, Machine, Manpower etc., in consultation with responsible Sales and Production Planning teams
To supervise the adherence to process by workmen. For e.g. process parameters and process control as per laid SOP/work instructions.
To maintain process parameters and ensure correctness on input of every batch and conduct deviation analysis for all deviations in raw material charging and process.
To lead, motivate and coach the production team to achieve the business objective.
To monitor and ensure completion of various engineering / investment projects as per budgeted guidelines

Safety, Ecology and Housekeeping
To monitor and ensure follow - up of production processes / operations as per company norms / statutory regulations on safety and environment protection
To maintain awareness of unsafe working operations / environment and effective follow-up for realization of corrective actions.
To make efforts to make production towards zero solid waste by implementing relevant action.
