Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Manage complete injection moulding plant operations and achieve production targets.
Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production.
Supervise machine setting, mould mounting/changing and process parameter optimization & Handle Large machine experience 1000 plus tons.
Monitor temperature, injection pressure, holding pressure, injection speed, cooling time and cycle time.
Troubleshoot moulding defects and reduce rejection, rework and material wastage & Mould running repair and maintenance.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity, downtime and OEE.
Manage PP, PPCP and other plastic raw materials and control consumption & Supervisors, Operators, Helpers and overall production manpower.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores and Dispatch departments.
Coordinate machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance and mould maintenance.
Support mould trials, machine trials and new product development.
Implement 5S, safety, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and review production, rejection, downtime and performance reports.
Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and production cost reduction.
Ensure smooth and safe plant operations and report major issues to management.

Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of strong hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding.
Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds and process parameters & Experience with PP/PPCP and other plastic raw materials.
Experience in rejection reduction, productivity improvement and cost control & handling medium/large (1000 plus tons ) injection moulding machines preferred and Mould running repair and maintenance.
Strong production planning, manpower management and leadership skills and Knowledge of OEE, 5S, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage.
Candidate should be capable of independently managing complete plant operations & Excellent troubleshooting and defect-control skills.
