Job Description

Person Will Lead Research & Development (R&d) Of Engineering Plastics Division, Driving Innovation And Overseeing The Development Of New Engineering Plastics Products. This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Polymer Science, Material Engineering, And Industry Trends To Ensure The Company Remains At The Forefront Of Technological Advancements. Person Will Work Closely With Cross-functional Teams, Including Manufacturing, Marketing, And Sales, To Align Research Objectives With Business Goals.
Person Will Ensure That Our Products And Services Meet All Necessary Quality Requirements Before They Reach The Consumer.
Person Will Ensure Final Products Are Inspected To Make Sure It Has Been Built With Compliance To Legal Standards And Meets Customer Expectations
Person Must Fully Understand The Requirements For The Product Or Service And Have A Sense Of Responsibility Towards Our Potential And Existing Customers As Well As The Competition. The Goal Is To Help Preserve Our Reputation By Ensuring That Our Products And Services Are Capable To Drive Sustainable Growth.
Person Should Be Well Aware About Iatf Process, Should Be Able To Lead Iatf Process Within The Organization.

Devise And Review Specifications For Products Or Processes
Set Requirements For Raw Material Or Intermediate Products For Suppliers And Monitor Their Compliance
Ensure Adherence To Health And Safety Guidelines As Well As Legal Obligations
Understand Customer Needs And Requirements To Develop Effective Quality Control Processes
Supervise Inspectors, Technicians And Other Staff And Provide Guidance And Feedback
Oversee All Product Development Procedures To Identify Deviations From Quality Standards
Inspect Final Output And Compare Properties To Requirements
Approve The Right Products Or Reject Defectives
Keep Accurate Documentation And Perform Statistical Analysis
Solicit Feedback From Customers To Assess Whether Their Requirements Are Met
Be On The Lookout For Opportunities For Improvement And Develop New Efficient Procedures

Lead The Development Of New Engineering Plastics Products From Concept Through Commercialization.
Oversee Experimental Design, Material Selection, And Process Optimization To Ensure Product Quality And Performance.
Stay Abreast Of Industry Trends, Emerging Technologies, And Regulatory Requirements To Guide Research Initiatives.

Team Management:
Recruit, Train, And Manage A High-performing R&d Team.
Provide Mentorship And professional development opportunities for team members.
oEvaluate team performance and implement strategies to maximize productivity and innovation.

Innovation & Problem Solving:
Drive the development of innovative solutions to complex material and engineering challenges.
Utilize advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance R&D capabilities


Education:
Masters / Batchelor degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in R&D within the engineering plastics or polymer industry.
Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization.
Experience in managing and leading R&D & quality teams.
