Job Description

Industry: Rigid Plastics Packaging
Product Focus: PET Bottles | Caps & Closures | Rigid Plastic Packaging

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to commercialisation.
Develop new PET bottles, caps, closures and rigid plastic packaging solutions.
Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, Tool Room, Procurement, Sales & Marketing teams.
Understand customer requirements and convert them into feasible product designs and development plans.
Manage product trials, mould/tool development, sampling, testing and validation.
Drive cost optimisation, product improvement and innovation initiatives.
Ensure timely completion of NPD projects as per quality, cost and timeline requirements.
Identify new technologies, materials, processes and market trends in rigid plastic packaging.
Support technical discussions with customers and resolve product development-related issues.


Ideal Candidate
12–15 years of relevant experience in Rigid Plastics / PET Packaging
Strong exposure to PET bottles, caps & closures
Experience in New Product Development / Product Design / Packaging Development
Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
Good understanding of moulds, tooling, injection/stretch blow moulding and packaging processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer-handling skills
