Acknowledgements in Batching Plant:
Transport lock, holding the pan mixer to the structure during transportation takes about 1½ hrs for assembling and also affects the aesthetics. The lock was tag welded between the structure & pan mixer. But now the model is altered & bolts are used in the place of the tag welding. It’s now bolted in the holes provided for platform hand rail. This will take only ½ hour to complete the process & welding work is eliminated during assembly.
The pan mixer was mounted with the hydraulic fitting at the bottom for which the operators had to lie down on floor. A stand was designed on which Pan Mixer shall be placed and the operators can work comfortably. Thus increasing the Ergonomics in turn the production.
suggested the number of Pan mixers, structure, and cement-water weather to be present inside the shop floor for work which is now being practiced, initially 8 Pan mixers were present for work inside shop making the area congested now it’s being reduced to 4, there by saving the shop floor space.
Pan mixer was assembled after inserting the same to the Upper part, with the help of over head crane. Now the gear box, motor & rotor are sub assembled to the pan mixer & inserted into the upper part with the help of Fork-lifter.
Prepared the pictorial routing of different process involved in fabrication & assembly.
