Job Profile:
Handling following responsibilities :
• Deftly carry out supplier audits in support of the development of an approved vendor list (AVL).
• Lead role in supplier relationship management including contract negotiation, monitoring supplier performance, volume leverage and total cost management objectives and ensure adherence to contractual commitments.
• Conduct studies of material costs and supplier services and recommend changes in purchasing procedures to improve service and /or reduce cost.
• Identify cost reductions efficiency opportunities and contribute to the achievement of efficiency targets including the development of KPI’s to tract improvements of budget v/s actual spent.
• Ensure compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies, manage the performance of vendors / suppliers, ensuring all KPI’s are setup and on plan as per agreed criteria.
• Look after supply of all SKUs within a given portfolio through consultation with the Customer Development, Marketing, Category and Demand Planning teams, monitor product on schedule daily, resolve issues and provide feedback to all departments.
• Responsible for New Product introductions and ensure planned introduction dates are met, coordinate with Production and Sales Teams for timely procurements.
• Execute export documentation including shipments against Letter of Credit, Commerical Invoices, Packing List, ARE-1, timely submission of Proof of Exports with Excise Department, well versed with Foreign Trade Policy, Customs and Excise, EPCG, Advance License redemption application.
• Liaise with Suppliers, Customers, Freight forwarders and CHAs for timely and smooth clearances, deftly negotiate with Freight forwarders and CHAs for cost reductions.
• Handled clearance of DG / Hazardous goods – for both Imports and Exports.
