New Engine & Vehicle stores, 7days for A-Class items,15 days for B-Class items 21 days for C class items, receipts issues & dispatches
Systems Designed for :
Binning of materials, pilferable material storage system, Asset codes for various materials handling systems, Reverse logistics and Material feed systems.
Identifying material according to TPL (Technical Parts List) and indenting for non coded items (general purchase).
Reconciliation procedure setup for parts discrepancy & for logical stock accuracy in Sap system.
Initiated TS-1649 procedures for Inbound & Outbound stores for HCV & implemented successfully.
Responsible for handling stores for engine assembly with a total inventory for the stores as 25 crores with a team of 7 staff persons & 2 senior engineers.
Quarterly inventory check to achieving Stock accuracy (at 98% and above) making use of the FIFO concept.

Cost reduction initiatives lead to cost saving for the company. Some initiatives were:
Material cost: Packaging material improvement; Efficient Material storage methods; Recycling of the plastic components for packaging.
Personnel: Minimizing manpower with adequate and additional responsibilities to the officers.
Overheads: Reduction of diesel consumption of diesel forklift through monitoring, analysis and improvements in consumption process.
Responsible for the development of team through improvement activities and proper implementation of 5S procedure for housekeeping thereby ensuring efficient working in stores.
