JOb profile -
Sales Operations: - Leading Sales operations of RIGID Plastic products for 21 customers including key customers like UPL Ltd. Having close to 40 plants including job work locations. Regular Customer visits to maintain the relationship and understand their requirements. Follow up with customers for purchase order. Sales orders generation basis of purchase orders in SAP system. Keeping track of schedules of customers and ensuring supplies. Helping factory team to plan production based on Capacity and orders available. Helping logistics to plan dispatches better with co-ordination with customer. Follow up with customer units for timely unloading of Vehicles. Managing dedicated vehicles of company for better utilization.
Customer Management :- One point contact for Customers as key accounts manager for all schedules, order management, prioritization, stock built up not only for seasonal time but at any point of time to meet uncertain requirements, operational issues. Helping Customers in getting timely deliveries with proper lead time. Work on structural solutions to improve on quality & delivery.

Customer / Product Development: - Identifying possible Customers for Products. Getting evaluation done for samples from P & D of customers. Understanding customer need of product, getting mold approved from customers, Facilitating new customers for process and safety audits. Follow up with customer for new product approval. Meetings with customer for development and approvals. Try to get more business from Existing customers by adding new products in their basket and give optimized solution for their problem.

Quality complaints: - Acknowledging quality complaints of products from customers. Discussion with factory team to get into root cause analysis of complaint and providing CAPA to customers.
Keeping track of customer complaints and reporting it to factory management for improvement in process and elimination of defects. Visiting customer plants for attending complaints and working with them on resolving it.

Payments: - Keeping track of overdue payments as per payment term agreed with various customers. Follow up on regular basis to ensure receipts of payment on time. Resolving dispute in payment issues due to rejections and short quantity receipts or any other financial issues at customer end. Meetings with customers Account Dept to close pending issues.

Inventory control: - Discussions with customers on Inventory buildup for season where line capacities are constraint and to meet uncertain requirements of customers. Getting clearance from customer on inventory carrying cost and assurance of lifting products as per agreement. Alignment with factory on producing items in lean period to cater higher demand in pick period of some SKU where capacity is constraint. Helping factories in getting forecast from customers for better utilization of line capacities. Managing inventories and control the value of dead stocks.

Forecast for Imported/Key RM: - Supporting purchase Team by providing the forecast for the import items like Meyers wads, WL Gore vent wads, Marlex RM and other domestic items like RM, Masterbatch, gaskets.

MIS/Reporting: - Sales Analysis & comparison of yearly, quarterly & Monthly sales. Preparation of sales budget. Monthly MIS preparation for meetings. Preparation of cost sheets for submitting to customers for approval.

Stakeholder Management: - Stake holder management is key aspect of this role. I worked with more than 30 factories of customers and different teams of customers like packaging development, Quality, production, finance teams.

IIP Certification - Ensuring IIP certificate availability for all export consignments of hazards goods of customers. Getting IIP certificate from Indian Institute of Packaging as per UN no & class of hazards goods. Close co-ordination with Customers for better clarity on certification.
