PROJECT DETAILS
RADIO PLUG HOLE OPENING COVER
The radio plughole assembly located in the dashboard of the Ford Ikon had initially two individual parts comprising the cover and idle socket. The idle socket and the wire chords assembly together produced sounds during jerks. So the plughole cover and the idle socket were together blended to rectify the noises. The solid model was created in UG and exported as IGS file and the analysis was done using MOLDFLOW.

RADIATOR CAP
This product is used in the radiator of the car (GM). The given 2D details. The model was created from the available 2D details and exported to IGES form to analyze the pressure withstanding capacity using the software ANSYS.

REAR VIEW MIRROR HOUSING
This is a reverse engineering project, which involves creation of 3d model of Rear view Mirror housing. Cloud of points was taken from existing model using CMM. Using these points model was designed in UG with some design and aesthetical changes.
