1. Pre-processing on Automobile Suspension system
Hypermesh 2019 was used as Pre-processing tool.
Structural parts were meshed with shell meshing.
Machined parts were meshed with tetra meshing.
All meshing criteria were followed while meshing.
2. Pre-processing on automobile closure parts i.e. Door, tailgates, etc.

Direct Frequency Response Analysis on Radiator Assembly.(Nastran)
Objective- To perform DFRA on Radiator Assembly to find out stresses generated in the
mounting.
Description-
Boundary conditions were applied on the model.
Acceleration was applied at constrained point as per JIS D1601.
Observed Maximum von-Mises stress and displacement results.
Prepared FEA report including stress and displacement results.
Hypermesh and Hyperview were used as Pre and post processing tools and Nastran as a solver.
4. Modal Frequency Response Analysis on Door Panel.(Nastran)
Objective- To perform MFRA on door panel of a car to find out frequency for which
maximum stresses generated.
Description-
Acceleration was applied on the hinges of door.
Findout at which frequency, maximum displacement occurs at outermost region i.e. latch point.
As per results, Frequency Vs Displacement and Frequency Vs Acceleration graphs were plotted in Hyperview and prepared FEA report.
Hypermesh and Hyperview were used as Pre and post processing tools and Nastran as a solver.
Linear Static Analysis on Cradle Bracket Assembly.(Nastran)
Objective- To perform linear static analysis on cradle bracket assembly to find maximum stresses generated.
Description-
Model was constrained at bracket resting points.
External point mass were applied and they are connected to cradle bracket with rigids.
Gravity force was applied on the model.
Observed stresses and displacement results in post-processing and prepared FEA report.
Hypermesh and Hyperview were used as Pre and post processing tools and Nastran as a solver.
6. Pretension Analysis on Clevis joint.(Abaqus)
Objective- To perform pretension analysis on Clevis joint.
Description-
Pretension analysis was carried out on clevis joint to calculate load loss due to
pretension of bolts in design intended gap.
Material, geometry and contact non-linearity were considered for analysis.
After applying load, displacement of the clevis was checked.
Displacement verses Pretension graph was plotted and from the graph, load loss was
calculated.
Hypermesh & Hyperview were used as Pre and post processing tools and Abaqus as a
solver..
