• Surface modification of nano materials for minimization of agglomeration tendency in organic media or coatings.
• Execute preparation, formulations, dispersions and processing of both thermoset resins and thermoplastics (polymer extrusion, compounding, injection molding, compression etc.)
• Fine-tuning of mechanical and physical properties of materials through blending, processing and dispersion techniques.
• Preparation of nanomaterial such as barium sulphate, zinc phosphate, calcium carbonate, etc. and their application for development of polypropylene/layered double hydroxide nano composite.
• Application of wood flour, glass fiber as filler to enhanced polymer composite properties. Application of hyper-branched polyester as processing aid for polypropylene/wood flour composites.
• Preparations of sample on the instrument such as Brabender Plastograph, Tensile
Strength, two roll mill, compression molding, injection molding etc.
• Characterization of samples on FTIR, FE-SEM, TEM, DSC, TGA, DMA, UTM and instruments for evaluating mechanical properties.
