I started in the industry as a machine operator, quickly after six months progressing to setter. After roughly five years I was made shift foreman/manager. My duties included overseeing all the setters and technicians, insuring all relevant processes were in place, finding possible new ways to improve company processes and overseeing the efficient running of a busy moulding department. I have BPTA stages; 1 & 2 certificates, also NEBs introduction to management awards. I have various other awards including Health and Safety, Lean and JIT.
