Job Profile:
Technical base include in- depth knowledge of the different Crane system (like EOT, Gantry, tower, Grabing crane) & it new product development, modification in existing parts, all activities related to crane, execution of special projects, field failure analysis and solution, Engineering modification advises to manufacturing and materials of crane as per client requirement, structure calculation, load calculation, selection of gear box, drive failure analysis, stress analysis etc.
Crane Sizing:
Crane Components selection as per Indian standard and prepare tender drawing as per clients requirement & attend meeting with client for understand there requirements & fulfill the technical requirements of customer & get the order.
After getting order prepare General Arrangement drawing as per tender drawing and get approval from the customer.
Crane Design:
After approval of G.A. Prepare Order release list (Long delivery items like as bearings, wheel forging, gear Blank forge, pulley, wire rope etc. as per approved make of bought out items and planning for steel requirement for Crane.
After that Design Girder and End Carriage and release it for production.
Then prepare crab drawing with hoist drive arrangement and travel drive arrangement.
After that release platforms drawing and release misc items like cabin drawing, lubrication arrangement, paints, buffers etc. Such as prepare all required drawing with Bill of material and check this both the things and release for production and Finally Prepare ODC (over all dimension consignment) list for transport arrangement and dispatch list for dispatch crane.
Crane design according to application (class) and load and according to IS, FEM, IPSS, etc standard. Design of girder, hook, wire rope, rope drum, trolley, pulley, wheel, etc crane part according to standard.
Mechanism calculation of crane, structure calculation of girder, etc.
Crane component selection like squirrel cage motor, slipring motor, gear brake motor, gear box, brake, rail, drive etc and also above all mention components.
Torsional Vibration Analysis:
Torsional vibration analysis of heavy crane of direct flexible coupled drive train or gear box drive train to avoid resonance at operating speed for motor drive And conclude motor is safe or not and selection of motor, coupling, etc. accordingly technical parameter.
Project Management:
Preparation of Multi project Schedule.
Interdepartmental Co-ordination.
Prioritization of engineering duration for multiple projects.
To ensure on-time Engineering Requirement Release.
Co-ordination with Planning Department to get the releasing requirement order to Procurement Department and getting deliveries on-time.
Co-ordination with assembly and machine shops regarding issues.
Co-ordination with field service for solving the field issues.
Co-ordination with Project Engineering Department.
