Description
A Prosthetic limb consists of upper Socket, Middle Pylon, and Bottom Foot. A Pylon
is a Metal Part of fixed Height and Heavy Weight Such that it is Difficult for an Amputee to
lift the limb. We designed a Height Adjustable Plastic Pylon and analysed it by Autodesk
Moldflow Insight 2013. (Moulding Window, Gate Location, Fill+Pack Analysis, Weld Lines
etc.). We also fabricated a Prototype of Designed Plastic Pylon Using Rapid Prototyping.
