Job profile-
A supply chain role in monitoring the entire stock at all the depot. Responsible for deciding inventory norms for depots and executing Demand Plan, Inventory Plan that will enable the depots to meet sales and service objectives and reduce delay days.
Coordination with other members of the sales, marketing, production and dispatch department from plant and depot to achieve these sales and service objectives. Responsible for the target of 90% fill rate at depots.
Regular meetings with Operations, Sales and Marketing (product heads) reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (especially for big tender orders (or MTOs) and seasonal products).
Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends. Implement the same in SAP.
Reviewing and revising inventory norms as per sale and season.
Preparing weekly monthly MIS for replenishment, fill rate and performance and circulating the same.
Tracking GIT and ensure Zero pendency and avoiding delay due to non-availability of stock at the desired location.
Determining non-moving material and asking the concerned depot of office the shift the order enabling the non-moving material to liquidity or if this does not work shifting the same in a specific location and informing all offices and sales teams to sell them on discount.
