Job Description

Manage and maintain receivable data
Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of receipt and customer accounts
Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates
Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements
Prepare accurate Debtors MIS reports on a regular basis
Analyze data and provide insights to support management decisions

Skills and Qualifications
B.Com or equivalent degree
Understanding basic principles of Finance, Accounting, And Bookkeeping
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google drive & Tally (ERP)
Ability to keep company and partner confidences as well as ability to prioritise and manage expectations
A keen eye for detail , Superb time management and detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in accounts receivable (or accounts payable)
Experience in driving process improvement
The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company as well as customer

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to sending to Customer for payment
Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting
