Job Description

Day-to-Day Accounting knowledge: - Recording daily transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) in software Tally prime, Perform Ledger reconciliations.
Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss :- A candidate with knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) gain/loss must understand how fluctuations in currency rates impact financial records when transactions occur in a foreign currency.

Sales Invoicing & Billing: - Preparation of Packing challan list as per advice from Packing & Generate Tax Invoices in Tally Prime. Ensure accurate GST rates (CGST, SGST, IGST) are applied to sales.
Export Invoice Preparation: Generating commercial invoices, packing lists, and proforma invoices for international shipments & also checking of check list rec'd from Clearing agent.
Documentation Management: Preparing and managing shipment documents, including Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Lading.
Advance License/ LUT: Candidates with experience in the Advance Authorization scheme up to redemption at DGFT.

Freight Analysis: - Requesting and analyzing quotes from multiple transporters to optimize costs, Negotiating freight charges and payment terms with carriers.
Petty Cash Management: Handling daily cash transactions, maintaining the petty cash book, ensuring approved vouchers/bills for every expense, and reconciling physical cash with records.
Accounts Receivable: Preparation of bill wise outstanding statement, and following up on client collections.

Audit :- A candidate should be handling Tax audits, GST audits, scrutiny, and assessments must possess strong knowledge of the income tax & GST.
Knowledge: Good understanding of GST laws, E-Way Bill regulations, and TDS.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination: - Coordinate with warehouse, packing, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.

TDS Returns - Candidate Must be able to prepare Quarterly TDS returns using the Return Preparation Utility (RPU) and validate them using the File Validation Utility (FVU) to create a fvu file.

Stock Valuation - A candidate preparing for stock valuation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
