Work Experience Details: 
Project:- Mechanics of Natural Fibre Composites.

A Pune University funded project, which involves the study of natural fibre laminates, their testing for various mechanical properties such as in-plane stresses, bending, torsion. Studying the various theories of failure used in composite mechanics, And finally, using finite element analysis, determine an optimum stacking sequence for the laminate, which will find its applications in the construction industry as well as in packaging.



Mini-project:- Quality testing of RPVC pipes as per IS 4985.

A mini project completed during a month long industry training at Reliance Polymers-Product and application research centre. It involved the testing of five samples of RPVC pipes produced in the local market for Vicat softening point, reversion, Gardner impact and hydrostatic pressure tests (IS 4985). The pipes were rated on a scale of 10; the pipes passing all the tests to receive 10/10. The inference of this project was that with slight variation in the chemical compositions and process parameters, the cost and quality of pipes could be varied to a large extent. A project-seminar was presented on the same.







Future Goals: 
Wish to settle in the polymer industry with specialization in raw materials-production, developmental research, testing and quality control. However I am open to a career in  processing of polymers-the machine, mold and screw-designing.
