The company, a 100% EOU unit, engaged in the continuous manufacturing of high precision Injection Molded Rubber components, rubber to metal and rubber to plastic bonded components for various automotive applications & assembly of these parts from plastic or aluminum. The company is certified to ISO/TS: 16949, ISO 14001 and a major supplier to Chrysler, BMW, AUDI, and Volkswagen. 

Job Profile

Independent handling of production shifts so as to ensure optimum utilization of Man, Machine & Material for achieving periodic production targets. 

Handling a team of 40-45 men per shift. Ensuring discipline on the shop floor by overseeing that designated tasks are carried out in time and by strictly following safety, quality and the production norms. 

Leave management, Preparation of manuals and teaching aids for training workmen, carrying out training need identification exercises. 

Collecting shift status of previous shift from engineer on machine condition, material status, confirming any changes in the tool plan. Liasoning with stores for ensuring raw material availability during the course of the shift. 

Checking availability of manpower and prioritizing machine booking based on manpower, material and plan. 

Machine maintenance and process control:-

Ensuring regular preventive maintenance of machine to ensure smooth running in the shift, coordinating with maintenance engineer in rectifying machine problem. 

Optimization of process capabilities for Injection Molding & initiating process improvements. Preparation and up gradation of SOPs & setup sheets for manufacturing. 

Achieving critical standards of quality of the material produced at the machine, rejection control, and waste control. 

Collecting quality feedback from QA department about previous shifts production and take steps to prevent reoccurrence in ones own shift before the start of the production. 

Ensuring all operators in carrying out the tasks is wearing protective gears and are following prescribed safety guidelines during shifts. Rectifying safety bottlenecks at place. 

Organizing Quality Circle meetings as a facilitator, maintaining all TS: 16949, ISO 14001 related documents and practicing quality philosophies such as PDCA, 5S, Kaizen .
