Job profile:

Successfully handled NABL audits; recognized as Authorized Signatory for Plastic and Rubber material testing.

Proficient in tests as per ASTM, ISO, and BIS standards across mechanical, thermal, chemical, UV, and optical methods, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

Worked on color-matching operations, new formulation development, and pigment/polymer applications (Olefin, Engineering Plastics) under Technical Manager guidance.

Maintained and calibrated lab instruments including Spectral, Extruder, MFI, FTIR, and others as per standard procedures in coordination with the maintenance team.

Hands-on experience with various lab instruments such as UTM, FTIR, MFI, Impact Testers, Color Matching Cabinet, and more.

Ensured strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, troubleshooting issues and supporting quality operations during manpower shortages.

Maintained housekeeping standards (5S), ISO documentation, record maintenance, and preparation of reports for quality assurance.

Surface & Abrasion Testing: Taber Abrasion Tester, Akron Abrasion , Din Abrasion.

Environmental & Thermal Testing: Fogging Cabinet, Flammability Chamber, Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), Vicat Softening Temperature (VST), Hot Air Oven, UV Weathering Tester.

Moisture & Electrical Testing: Moisture Content Analyzer, Glow Wire Test Apparatus

Color & Optical Evaluation: Color Matching Cabinet, Haze meter, Colorimeter , Spectro photometer, Gloss Meter.
