Job Profile :

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice toolroom vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

Manage the running and plan activities of the tool room facilities and toolmakers, ensuring the tool room is a safe environment in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Oversee all work through the tool room efficiently and cost-effectively and ensure that all target dates for tooling are met Manufacture new tools from technical drawings to a high level of workmanship in an efficient, cost-effective manner

Provide specialist technical advice and support on all aspects of Tool design, manufacturing, and estimating

Prepare the annual Tool Room budget, forecasts, and all Capital Expenditure proposals and ensure compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects 

Responsible for Tool Room day-to-day activities. Development and maintenance tools/spares

Responsible for delivering injection mold tooling for the program by working with the tool shop & part supplier to meet project milestones.

Training and development of Team members

Planning and scheduling of jobs on the machines

Tool procurement and Budgeting

Continuous improvement of process and improving the efficiency of Toolroom

Daily Follow up of each project from Engineering to Final Quality

Estimation and Preparing process plan.

Procurement of Custom made Mould bases, STD items & Hot runner systems

Sourcing of high-precision moulds and inserts from China and Malaysia

Supplier identifications and developments

Developing and implementing quality standards & Controls.

Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.

Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.

Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
