Job profile - 

New Product Development of Sheet metal/ machining component through APQP process in co-ordination with 

various agencies. 

Work with sample build, validation and production launch teams in support of customer programs and 

organizational initiatives to improve quality and reduce cost, while ensuring reliability of products.

Getting Sample & Submission, Interaction with the vendor and customer regarding development of new products.

Prototype Developments as per project timelines. 

Follow up of approval of samples from customer.

Technical guidance to suppliers during new development for product and process

Developing plans/ schedules, arranging for resources and overseeing all activities to ensure timely completion of 

projects during entire prototyping & pilot lot submission activities.

Study drawings/designs and decide the manufacturing process of the components. Vice versa discuss with Design 

team for necessary design changes from the manufacturing point of view. 

Coordinating with Production/ QC for developing the chain of tasks in the manufacturing process of new 

components/ modifications of existing fixtures/ components. 

Estimating the cost (RFQ) of components in co-ordination with costing dept. (based on analysis of drawings & 

processes)
