Mould Shop - NPD

Feasibility/DFM study of automotive plastic parts.

RM study, procurement, dispatch box design & planning.

2D study, tolerance & requirement analysis.

Gauges, Fixture planning & procurement.

Part modification ECN/ECR.

Injection Molding Tool design and development. Mold flow study, machine tonnage requirement pressure v/s clamping tonnage study, mold size adaptability for suitable m/c. Minimize defects- sink mark, weld line, scoring, silver mark, warpage etc. by using suitable methods & process parameter setup. 

Tracking of projects, timeline, development plan, mold trials,, development at supplier?s side, etc.

Preparation of SIR/BOM, Process flow charts, DR documents/PPAP, SPM inputs, and Engineering inputs related to products, etc. 

Finalization of Relation Gauge, Production SPM Concept and cooling fixture design.

Preparation for Audits like IATF, TPM & External Audits.

Preparation of 2D drawings, BOM related to Mould, EGP approval.

Preparation for Audit and documentation like TS format, Mould document preparations.

Determines project specifications and feasibility by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards;

Attained the trials with customer for product validation, Factory acceptance test. 

Completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates. 

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
