Career Summary:

Assembled more than 100molds ranging from (SPI Class 101 to 103) 1 cavity proto molds to 128-cavities production molds involving the use of different hot runner systems, 3-plate cold runner/semi-hot runner design. Slider actuation with finger cam, dog leg cam and hydraulic cylinder.Unscrewing cores with rack & cam mechanism, rack & nut mechanism and gear train with hydro motor. 

Been involved in solving problems after trail like rework to avoid flash, improving venting to avoid burn mark, re-polishing thread core or micro blasting or reducing spring tension to avoid thread shearing. Also finding root cause for sink mark, gate dragging, water leakage, scoring, component striking, component function problems etc. 

Good knowledge in studying mold design and understating the sequence to check the mold function before loading into injection moulding machine.

Good understanding on manufacturing processes and technique and able to plan sequence of operations for mold parts. 

Good knowledge on material selection, heat treatment process and coating types. 

Attending customer complaints at client location to solve mold functional problems faced in production
