Company profile- largest manufacturer of Plastic Fuel Tank Systems for passenger cars globally, having its manufacturing units in China, Australia, Europe and Russia, with customers like Ford, Mahindra, VW, FCA, TATA.



Production Operations

Overseeing production operations as per customer forecast, including Production planning and control, Manpower management.

Monitoring of KEY objective indicators based on defined parameters which are linked to Goals, Vision and Mission of the organization.

Handling of Blow Molding, hot plate Welding and Assy lines Operations.

Weekly and monthly monitoring of 8Ds, based on in-house and customer complaints and warranty complaints.  

Routine analysis on of OEE, rejections levels, Scrap Rate, Manpower plan Vs. Actual. And Deploying actions accordingly, DWM meeting, and forwarding MIS to top management.

Monitoring of Production Plan Vs. Actual s Raw material and child parts reconciliation, Stock levels monitoring of child parts, SFG and F.G.

Weekly Review meetings with Operations team.     

Monitoring of allocated budget vs. actual expenditure to ensure the effective utilization of budget.   

Conducting regular inspection to ensure the process capability of various machines.



Quality Management

Ensuring the adherence of all Quality management systems requirements and Customer 

Specific requirements from raw material receipt to finish goods.

Ensuring the adherence of all internal process and product audits, and its NC Closures. 

Monitoring of Customer PPMs, Warranty PPM, customer complaints, customer voice, internal customer complaints, cost of poor quality, Rejection analysis in-house and customers by using various problem solving techniques like 8D, 7 QC tools. 

Review and ensuring the updating of SOP and Other check sheets based on customer complaints and in-house concerns action plan. 



Process Improvement / Value Engineering

Process Validation & optimization, Process audits for Blow molding, injection molding, welding and assembly processes.  

Maintaining and updating the Trail details register along with trouble shooting guidelines and Process.

Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications & equipment Calibrations to enhance operational efficiency by following engineering change procedure. 

Identification and deployment of improvement activities for reduction in Rejections, Cost saving, improving Raw material yield, 5S system improvement, man power skill up-gradation Kaizens, POKAYOKE.   

Handling/ cost reduction initiatives & ensuring growth of plant productivity.

Certified as Mahindra yellow belt for problem solving techniques.

As Mahindra certified production Engineer  

Successfully done installation and Commissioning of Hot plate welding & assembly lines for new projects like FCA & TATA.
