Project Details:

M.Tech Project:

In situ generation of silica in PEG as an additional reinforcement in NR-SILICA vulcanizate: Nano silica was prepared inside a rubber matrix by sol gel method in the presence of an activator for silica i.e. poly ethylene glycol and with Tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) as the silica precursor



B.Tech Project:

Insulating mats for electrical purposes with Natural rubber: Done at Cori Engineers (P) Ltd. Natural rubber was once used to produce Electrical insulation mats which was according to the old standard IS: 5424. Our main idea is to achieve the required properties by adding appropriate additives to the natural form of rubber which would comply with the new revised standard IS: 15652
