Project name-: Study of PP+CNF composite?Adding conducting carbon fillers to insulating thermoplastic resins increases composite electrical conductivity. In this study, a single type of carbon filler .Carbon Nano Filler is added to Polypropylene resin. The resulting single filler composite were tested with following techniques.

Thermo Gravimetric Analysis: measures weight loss as a function of temperature

Differential Scanning Calorimetry Measure the temperature and heat flow and heat flow associated with transition in material

Dynamic Mechanical Analysis : Measures modulus as a function of temperature?

Electrical Resistivity Measurements: Measure the resistance of the material.

Completed in National Chemical Lab. Pashan, Under the guidance of Neelima Bulakh (Ph D J 120, Polymer Advance and Material Laboratory, National Chemical Laboratory)
