1. Sourcing, technical evaluation and selection of Moulders for injection moulded 

    components, sheet metal components Rubber components and Vendor

2. Selection & Purchase of suitable grade of Plastic raw material, Colour 

    masterbatches and additives for various applications and plan.

3. Sourcing, technical evaluation and selection of Mould Makers / sub - contractors 

    for Tools / Injection moulds. 

4. Visiting moulders / vendors for technical evaluation, process control, progress 

    review. Getting quotation for moulding rates for plastic components and 

    quotation for making injection plastic moulds.

5. Execution of New projects, selection & Purchase of moulds & Machines and 

    manpower selection.

6. Execution of Production plan & Coordinating production activities for OEMs - in 

    case of difficulties, rejections, process problems etc.

7. Finalization of moulding cycle time, reconciliation weight, reconciliation 

    allowance % for plastic components and preparation of cost sheet.

8. Preparation of estimate for moulding cost, cycle time, production rate for new 

    products.

9. Carrying out mould modifications, corrections, repairs and planning preventive 

     maintenance for moulds.

10. Implementation of quality system, maintaining documents, records and 

      training of persons.

11. Coordination of mould manufacturing, trials and approval process.

12. Planning for continuous improvements of quality, reliability, productivity and 

      cost control

13. Raw Material reconciliation & settlement of account at the end of season / year.

14. Handling all the development activities related to plastics (Raw material 

      selection, mould making & taking trials till the establishment of process & 

      product.
