Job Profile::  

Material design & development section, main activity being formulation development, process evaluation and factory implementation.  

Responsible for all radial tire compounding and processing.          Management of R&D Laboratory with physical and analytical equipment. Assessment of adequacy of factory processing especially of mixing of compounds and necessary guidance to factory technical department.

Areas of Application of dynamic / viscoelastic properties for Specific        designing tread compounds. Exposure Development of tire and related formulation with necessary tailor made properties for changing service requirements. 

Undergone 1.1/2 months training in Japan in tire material research & development at  the Collaborators R&D Section 

(Yokohama Rubber Company)  Factory Process Control of mixing section.          

Radial compound adaptation and processing. Setting up of new tire R&D laboratory. 

Development of  Systems and Procedures for the laboratory so that the quality of test results are of a high standard.          

Development of New Tests and Improvement of methods /procedures for better quality results. Attended several Management Development Programs including Leadership & Team Work at the Administrative Staff College, India. R&D Management" at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. 

Attended Tire Compounders course conducted by Flexsys at Akron, USA.
