Job Profile : 

Familiar with operations of different testing equipments like Haake Rheo-mix and Rheo-extruder (For rheological properties studies), Zwick/KMI universal testing M/C (For Tensile Strength, Elastic modulus, Elongation %, Flexural strength, Flexural modulus etc.)  QUV accelerated weathering tester, Izod/Drop Impact tester, Hardness tester, Infrared spectrophotometer, Vicat Softening Temperature, Heat distortion temp. measuring apparatus etc.

Procurement and installation of new process / testing equipments and calibration of testing instruments as per ISO :9001:2008

Quality assurance planning for various products and provide support to Production,  purchase and marketing department as and when required.

Receiving, stage and final inspection of different chemicals, polymers, final products related to cooling tower.

Liaise with internal and external concerned parties to coordinate inspection and tests witness to be conducted as per contractual agreement. 

Familiar with operations and preventive maintenance of twin screw extruder, thermoforming M/C, high speed mixer, vacuum press, Granulator, Cross cutting machine.

Familiar with various ASTM, DIN, IS-codes related to different testing of polymers like PP, PVC, GRP etc.

To  provide technical support to production department for manufacturing of different polymer products like extruded PP / PVC profiles, PP-based injection molded misc. cooling tower components, extruded rigid PVC sheet, thermoformed corrugated sheets, different GRP composites etc.

Implementation of different requirements of ISO: 9001 and total quality management (TQM) or various work centers. 

Familiar with different types of PVC pipe Inspection (dimensional) as well as testing of Physical properties such as Tensile strength, flexural strength, Impact strength, HDT, VST, density etc . at receiving inspection stage

Cost analysis of PVC sheet and GRP components. 

Familiar with third party (NTPC, BHEL, TUV, SGS QUEST etc) inspection handling for GRP & PVC/PP/Structural fabricated component of cooling tower.



Achievement :

Developed cost effective low density compound for making rigid PVC sheet.

Implemented moment balancing and load test for GRP hollow blade.

Optimized raw material consumption for production of GRP hollow blades and AQ-3800 components.

Reduced dimension stability in extruded rigid PVC sheet through establishment of Proper Process Parameter.
