No.: JA - 7683 Job Title: GeM & Tender Executive / Manager Company: Plastemart Jobs Job Description: Key Responsibilities Manage the complete GeM Portal operations, including product/service listings, catalogue management, bidding, reverse auctions, and order processing. Identify and evaluate relevant GeM bids, tenders, and government procurement opportunities. Prepare and submit GeM bids and tenders within stipulated timelines. Handle the complete tender process, including: Tender identification and analysis Eligibility and qualification assessment Preparation of technical and commercial documents Bid submission EMD/Bid Security and other compliance requirements Price bidding and negotiations Post-bid clarifications and correspondence Monitor and manage GeM orders from order receipt through successful delivery and closure. Coordinate with production, dispatch, logistics, finance, and other internal departments for timely execution of government orders. Ensure compliance with tender conditions, technical specifications, delivery schedules, and contractual requirements. Handle Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG), Earnest Money Deposits (EMD), security deposits, and other tender-related requirements. Prepare and maintain tender-related documentation and records. Track tender results, competitor participation, pricing, and market trends. Coordinate with government departments, PSUs, and other institutional customers. Follow up on order acceptance, delivery, inspection, invoicing, and payment realization. Resolve issues related to GeM orders, product specifications, delivery, rejection, replacement, and other customer requirements. Maintain MIS reports for bids submitted, orders received, sales, pending orders, and payment status. Ensure timely renewal/update of company registrations, certificates, authorizations, and other documents required for GeM and tender participation Preferred Candidate Profile 3?5 years of relevant experience in GeM Portal management, government tenders, institutional sales, or tender business. Hands-on experience in GeM bidding and GeM order management is mandatory/preferred. Strong understanding of the GeM Portal and government procurement/tendering processes. Experience in handling Central/State Government, PSU, Railways, Defence, or other institutional tenders will be an advantage. Preferred: Experience with a manufacturing company having a turnover of ?100+ Crore. Preferred: Experience handling high-value GeM orders and tenders for manufactured products. Good understanding of tender eligibility criteria, technical/commercial bids, EMD, PBG, bid security, and contract conditions. Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email communication, and preparation of tender documentation. Excellent coordination, follow-up, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage multiple tenders/orders simultaneously. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be someone who has independently handled GeM bids, tenders, and GeM orders for 3?5 years, understands the complete government procurement cycle, and has experience working in a mid-to-large manufacturing organization with 100+ Crore turnover.
