The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term relationships and adept at engaging eUectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute procurement strategies for (polymers/resins/plastics) aligned with organisation goals. Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for polymer raw materials (domestic & international). Maintain healthy and strong partnership with Supplier to ensure continuity of supply. Ensure alignment on quality, delivery, and pricing. Cross- Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings. Ensure procurement aligns with budget, risk and forecast across supply chain. Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary. Market & Price Tracking Conduct Market analysis to track polymer market trends, raw material pricing, risk, opportunities and competitor sourcing strategies. Provide regular updates to management for informed procurement decisions Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of polymers, resins, and petrochemical markets. Negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in SAP systems & MS Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Chemicals, Polymers, or Supply Chain Management (preferred). 3?6 years of procurement experience in polymers with strong background in global sourcing. Customer focus and ability to build trust-based relationships. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Experience in supplier performance management and cost optimization. Analytical and proactive, with a solid understanding of global polymers markets.
